It is long lived and slow growing having a lifespan in healthy conditions of over 100 years. It has a stout shaggy trunk that grows level to the ground in mature specimens. The trunk can develop to be over 20 feet tall, but it takes upwards of 50 years of growth. Mature specimens typically grow to 8' high, and 6' wide, and can branch multiple times producing new heads of growth. The Sago needs spacing between itself and other plants of about 6'.
<dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
<dc:rights></dc:rights>
<dc:type>Plant</dc:type>
